Special clearance price on 2021 series nag champa. This is genuine Satya Nag Champa made by Shrinivas Sugandhalaya Bangalore. It’s last year’s stock (2021 series) but it still smells great. We purchased this stock wholesale in late 2022 from a reputable Australian importer. We were expecting to receive 2022 stock but we got this instead. Slightly disappointing, but the good news is you can grab it at a bargain price. Yes, it’s a year or so old but it still smells great. Nag Champa is a high quality masala incense with a long shelf life. You won’t be disappointed.
Each packet contains 15g, which is about 10 - 12 sticks.
Each stick is approximately 20cm (total length) and burn time is about 50 minutes per stick. Exact burn time will vary depending on a number of factors, and your burn time may be a bit longer or a bit shorter.

If you regularly burn Nag Champa incense you will want to read this.
Not many people are aware of this, but there are now two completely different versions of the ever-popular Satya Nag Champa available for sale both here in Australia and around the world. They are both genuine Satya products, but only one of them is the original Nag Champa that you know and love. How did this happen? It's complicated...
Satya Nag Champa was first made in 1964 by a family-owned company called Shrinivas Sugandhalaya. Satya Nag Champa gained popularity both within India and around the world, becoming the world's most popular incense. The company grew and the founder's two sons joined Shrinivas. One son ran the production factory in Bangalore while the other oversaw sales and marketing from their office in Mumbai. After the death of their father the sons inherited the company and very little changed.
But then something happened, and this is where it gets complicated. Recently Shrinivas Sugandhalaya was split in two, with each brother taking half of the original company. A court case in India decided that both of the new companies could continue to make and sell Satya brand products, the most famous of which being Satya Nag Champa.
So... We now have Satya Nag Champa made by Shrinivas Mumbai and we also have Satya Nag Champa made by Shrinivas Bangalore. Legally, they are both genuine Satya brand products but they aren't the same incense.
The Bangalore product is the original Nag Champa made in the same factory by the same production team, using the same recipe, production technique and ingredients - nothing has changed. This is the Nag Champa that millions of people all over the world know and love.
The Mumbai product is not the original Nag Champa. It's made in a new production facility by the team who previously were responsible for sales and marketing. The Mumbai Nag Champa is not hand-rolled, but is instead machine-rolled (Bangalore continues to hand-roll all its products - just as it has since the beginning). No one knows if Mumbai uses the same recipe - some ingredients may have been changed to allow for machine-rolling. All we can say is we have tried both versions and there is a difference. The Mumbai product smells like it is missing something. We have also noticed that the Mumbai sticks burn faster than Bangalore Nag Champa. You can expect about 50 minutes burn time per stick from Bangalore Nag Champa but only about 45 minutes from Mumbai Nag Champa. In a packet of 12 sticks that adds up to an hour of extra burn time from the Bangalore sticks. Not bad!
SunDrops is stocking the original Nag Champa produced in Bangalore. It's the Nag Champa that everyone knows and loves, and in our opinion it's superior to the Mumbai version. The packaging is almost identical but it's what's inside that counts.
If you are buying from someone else there is no guarantee that you will get the original and best Nag Champa. Many retailers aren't even aware that anything has changed. If you ask them about Mumbai and Bangalore they won't have a clue what you are talking about. But if you buy from us you can be sure you are getting genuine original Satya Nag Champa.
Don't get burned.
