Amulet Stone

This unusual stone is a combination of Rhyolite and Agate. It comes from Mount Hay in Queensland, Australia, and for this reason these stones are also known as Mount Hay Thundereggs. They are also sometimes known as Traveller's Stones or Star Agate. Amulet Stones are reasonably rare and hard to find. What you see is what you get. The stone shown in the photos is the actual stone you will receive.

The dark veins are quite smooth and glossy while the lighter parts have a matte or semi-matte finish. This stone some cracks and crevices but these features are normal for Amulet Stones, and shouldn't be considered defects. This piece is knobbly and irregular in shape, and it has an interesting feel in the hand.
